beautiful white sand, crescent beach and safe waters for most activities.
Strong currents may occur at times.
KAPALUA BEACH
Public access is at left end of the
beach. Emerald clear and calm waters with a jutting coral reef make beach
perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. This is West Maui's most
recommended safe swimming areas.
ONELOA and D.T. FLEMING BEACHES
The northern most tip of Maui. The
heart is quickened by some of the most spectacular surfing beaches
anywhere. Water is dangerous for swimming because of rip currents, but the
opportunity to watch world class surfing can be an exhilarating experience
for anyone right here. Popular with the locals.
