Exercise 17

 Adage

We move into the adage exercise which is the slow controlled movement from the centre and the back.

Starts facing to the corner, with slide into First
Position arabesque, switch corners, leg goes up derriere, and jeté, passé through and open side, passé again and attitude croisé derriere. Slow promenade into attitude effacé and port de bras and pirouette en dedans.
Port de bras front and back.
When you finish corners and pirouette en dedans, close front
and do the other side.

First of all showing the arabesque line into a nice deep fondu, rotating through the reteré out to the second position, into the attitude promonade and good control of the supporting leg, pivotting
on the ball of the foot.

Feel it through both arms across the back while you lunge.

A lot of use of port de bras are used here, very similar to the moves used at the barre
this time we use en dedans pirouette.

Relaxing the head, taking the full port de bras, then we rise...
and finish in fifth position.
