Battement Frappé
Ball of foot strikes surface of floor as leg extends to open position.
2 x frappé devant, 3 x faster a la seconde, 2 x frappé derriere and
3 x faster á la second.
Rise demi-pointe and
double frappé en croié (cross) finish, with petit battement
on relevé.
Repeat from the back (reverse).
Attitude front.
Sutenue to the other side.
Again battement frappé is a very sharp and fast exercise as a preparation for quick movement in the
center exercise.
Reverse accent out, out and out.
