Adage (other side)
Slow moving controlled exercise on the other side.
Starts facing to the corner, with slide into First Position arabesque, switch corners, leg goes up derriere, and jeté, passé through and open side, passé again and attitude croisé derriere. Slow promenade into attitude effacé and port de bras and pirouette en dedans.
Port de bras front and back.
When you finish corners and pirouette en dedans, close front.

Slide to the first arabesque... nice open line... to a’ la second and attitude. |

Control the supporting leg, and minimize the movement in the promenade. |
|
|
Take
a nice big lunge.
Followed by pirouette en dedans again. |
|
Finish with port de bras...
and take a long stretch
through the hamstrings. |

Tendu - means to stretch.
Battement Tendu -
is the stretching of the leg and foot away from the body with toes
remaining on the surface of the floor.
Plié - means bending of the knees.
Demi-Plié - is half bending of the knees.
Grand-Plié - is half bending of the knees.
Ports de Bras - graceful and expressive movement of the arms.
Relevé - raised up or
to rise.
Demi-plié, Relevé -
half bend raised up.
